Who We Are

Our History

Scruggs Ridge & Company CPAs was founded in October 2003 with a desire to work closely, one-on-one with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their individual needs, help develop future goals, and consult them toward long-term success. In November of 2005, we acquired the Benton branch to help facilitate growth into Saline County.  The branch recently relocated to our new location at 1000 Military Road.  This branch is a thriving part of the overall growth plan of the firm.  In August 2010, we purchased Schwartz & Associates CPAs as a means to acquire additional clients and facilitate into the services of business valuations and litigation support.  This purchase also added timber, legal and trucking to the industries that we currently serve, which also includes small business, nonprofit, construction, healthcare, professional service firms, and manufacturers.

Our firm is licensed through the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy and proudly participates in the Peer Review program administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants—an important benchmark of quality and accountability in our industry.

We undergo this rigorous review every three years to ensure we’re meeting the highest professional standards. Our most recent peer review was completed on June 24, 2024, and we’re proud to have earned a PASS rating with flying colors.

Beyond our core certifications, we stay actively involved in the professional and local community through memberships with the Arkansas Society of Public Accountants, the Affordable Housing Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Arkansas Better Business Bureau.
